Recently I purchased a 07 f350 with a Ford gen 2 remote start and security system. We only got 1 fob with the truck and it seems to be the only way to shut the alarm off. Ordered another fob off amazon and it programmed perfectly however it works the locks but does not disable the darn alarm.
Is there a way to permanently disable the factory alarm? It has a disabling switch installed for anti theft purposes. Even the keypad on the door doesn't seem to disable the alarm. Seems to be a giant PITA so far and I'd be willing to forgo the remote start feature to get rid of it.

May need to download Forscan. The last update now allows you to mess with the PATS system and program key fobs. I can't tell you how to do it but in the forscan forum it tells you how to do it.
