Suggestions for alarm

Seems like I've read that there is no factory alarm that works with the remote start. Does that mean you can't add an aftermarket system like Viper, for instance? And if something like Viper would work, what would I give up by going with the aftermarket remote start alarm? MY Key?

You can add an aftermarket alarm. I am looking at Remote Start and Security | Smartphone Control | GPS Tracking | DroneMobile.com

its the one that comes with power seat, the door buttons on the outside and advanced security group, its msrp is $795. I don't care for any of those things I just wanted the backup camera, but it made me get that interior package

I'm not sure which interior package you are talking about but looking at the order guide it looks to me like an alarm comes standard on the XLT and up.

You can download the order guide here...
