anyone have any suggestions for cleaning products I have leather stuff I like but what about the plastic on doors or dash, hand grips etc.... I have a 2017 platnium 4x4. I don't want to use something that messes anything up.
My 2 go-to's are Mothers VLR for the leather and Meguiars Natural Shine Protecant for everything else. Very good results with both and no greasy residue.
I use 303 protectant on all interior and exterior plastic. I also use it on boat seats, rv exterior... pretty much everything. Not real glossy or slick and gives great UV protection. Not sure what I will use on the leather seats yet.
Water in a bucket with a touch of dawn dish detergent. Wipe the plastic down with a wash cloth (wringed out) and towel dry. It's clean and looks like new. Best of all its not expensive. I used to use all of the expensive cleaners, but have found that this works best for me.
I use Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner on the leather seats and steering wheel. A buddy of mine details cars at a Rolls Royce dealership and tells me that Lexol is what they use with great success.
