Extended brake lines

for those of you with lifts, have you done extended brake lines?

I just received a set of lines for the front from Carli. No instructions with them.

Are there any tricks/tips to installing on these new Fords? How about bleeding them?

I am pretty mechanically inclined, but have only done one set of brake lines on an older pickup. No experience with these new ones.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

That might be a thing worth taking to a shop. If you don't bleed the brakes properly you can get into some dangerous situations pretty fast. Worth the money to me to make sure it's done right.

What Carli kit did you get? I thought they weren't shipping till May? I really want the back country 2.0 kit.

Bleeding them hasn't changed. Nothing special about it. Either use vacuum or have someone pump them while you crack the bleeder screws on each caliper waiting for each corner to push a steady stream of fluid out.

The Carli kits are already shipping minus the track bar. Mine is waiting at the shop for install, but I decided to wait until the track bar comes in (May sometime estimate) so I don't have to have another alignment.

I agree on the brakes too. But I've never messed with brakes at all so my comfort level is extremely low.

update:
talked to Carli and CJC Offroad (who I purchased from). Both said lines bleed the old fashion way or by gravity.
I tackled this job yesterday. went very smoothly. brakes bled easily.
I never liked bending the hard lines with the relocation tabs for the level.
These are a better solution, I wish I had done these in the first place.

I did go through a whole new bottle of Ford Dot 4 PM-20 brake fluid through loss and bleeding. Had to pick up another bottle to top off the reservoir.
