Help me find a thread. Loose shifter
I remember a thread re the automatic shifter being loose. I can't find it. There was something about a plate with torx bolts that come loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The shifter may have 3 different problems; loose or worn plastic bushing, bolts coming loose and on older models the column shifter tube design was weak could break.
Pictures on post #68 and #72 may be what your looking for.

You're looking for a plate and 2 torx bolts that looks something like this.
