Sloppy Shifter questions!!!!!!!!!
My 03 has a lot of play in the shifter. So I dropped the steering column to have a look. It appears that there is a shifter tube and a few plastic bushings that have some play. Is this a common thing in these trucks? Is this something I can repair myself? I would love some tips from anyone that has done this.

yes you can do it yourself. the biggest problem I had was finding a parts guy who knew what I was talking about. you also need to check the 2 torx bolts underneath. lay down on the floor looking up and wiggle the shifter follow it and you will see 2 torx bolts along the shaft.
