Fuel system component identification?

Governor? Manual fuel prime?
One goes to fuel heater and the other to high pressure but where do wires connect? Are either of these necessary to getting engine to start and run? (All extras removed)

Power to
Fuel shut off solenoid
Glow plug controller
and starter

None of the items in your pics are needed to start and run the engine. Delete them all.

The first two pics... No clue what that is. Never seen one before. Definitely not a ford/IDI part.

I wonder if those vacuum spheres are used for her aftermarket cruise control system? Odd looking. If you delete them, then make sure to cap your vacuum lines so that you can maintain a good vacuum for your brake assist, tranny, and climate control selector.

The wire connectors look a lot like my plugs for my van's IDI diesel filter housing. They plug in on top. But like Macrobb said, you can ignore them for now. They just power the warning light that you have too much water in fuel or other fuel filter related issue. Just regularly check your filter for water and you shouldn't have to many problems.

top is part of add on cruise control. not needed. electric plugs are for fuel bowl heater and water in fuel light. both of them are not needed either.
