Hi,
It's been a long time since I posted here. The truck has run perfectly for years and the best part is that it was my first engine rebuild. Went really well. It's a 1993 F350, crew cab 4X4, 7.5L, auto.
Anyway, I have a question now about the OD off light. The little light at the end of the gear selector handle has gone out. I tend to use the OD on and off a lot.
I went and bought a little, 12v led light to put in the dash. I'm trying to figure out what wires to splice into so this light will illuminate once OD is off.
There are 3 wires on the colum shifter that go to the on-off button.
1: white, or pink with blue stripe
2: blue with orange stripe
3: green with white stripe.
I'm guessing I need to tap into one, or two of these wires to make the light work.
Any help on which wires to use is much appreciated, or how to figure out which wires to use.
I did consider that, but I like the idea of having the indicator light more in front of me, in the dash than off to the side on the shifter. Looks like the pin out diagram might work.
