Getting behind back seat

Getting behind back seat
My 2010 f150 extended cab has a strap sticking up from behind the back seat that when I pull on it it doesn't move. I'm assuming that it should release the back of the seat so you can get behind it .
Am I correct and if I am any ideas how I could free it so I would have access behind it.
Thanks

I think that strap is a top anchor point for a child seat. I think there is a latch just outboard of the seat belt that has to be released by getting your hand in between the seat and back cushions. On my '05 I used a long screwdriver to push the latch. The trick was finding it. Google it, I bet there are a couple good YouTube tutorials.

There's a latch with a small metal tab about the size of a pencil eraser on the drivers side you have to lift up.
To access it on the supercrew you have to lift the 2 person seat up about 45 degrees. That pulls the back of the seat out enough that you can get to it just barely. Once you get the hang of it it's easy. It is a handy space. Second Amendment items fit back there nicely. Sometimes it's kind of hard to get the latch to close again. You need to raise the 2 person seat 45 degrees again, line it up and push hard to get it to catch.

Just to clear things up again folks, the SuperCrew (Full 4 door) and SuperCab (Half rear door) unfortunately do not use the same method to access behind the upper half of the back seat. The SuperCrew is much easier, as the seat back is split and there is already a mechanism accessible from the top to unlatch and fold forward.
For the SuperCab trucks, the seat back is all one piece and is not "hinged" like the SuperCrew.... the entire thing needs to be removed to access the space. Access to the removal brackets is from the bottom to latches then you pull the seatback up and out, clearing the center seat belt as well. Here is a better video than the one I posted before. Skip to 1:50 to skip the guys introduction. Video does a great job explaining on a SuperCab
