Yeah... I'd ask Matt, if that's your guy. The injector builder can make all kinds of combinations, but it's the tuner that stand between you and a smooth-running 7.3L with custom sticks.
I second thae suggestion of calling Gearhead and asking them what they recommend.
I also urge you to reconsider the nozzle issue.
3rd. Talk to Gearhead with your intended use and go with that. Any nozzle with a imperfect tune is not going to offer good performance. Either is a big gain over AD injectors. I run 175/80 PIS and tunes from two vendors and there are big differences in the trucks running. I would love to have live tuning done.
Have new 160/30's from PIS....like them. Would I have liked 160/0? Probably. Would I have liked 160/80's? Maybe...but if I had to install any more supporting items to use the 80%....then maybe that would be too much.
OK I will call them today. Had a guy from Unlimited contact me last night. That warranty is kinda of tempting me. . . I keep changing my mind lol but I think based on price range I am between FF and UDP. . . Ill see what GearHead says.

I work sporting dog as a leisure activity. I also happen to purchase what was Tri-Tronics e-collars to work those dogs. (now Garmin).
I've had the fortune to win some Sport Dog e-collars....everybody says Sport Dog has a great warranty (and by all accounts they do).I have never needed the warranty on my Tri-Tronics....and people that I have bought my Sport Dog collars have.
I'd rather have a short warranty and not use it, then some great warranty and always need it.
Take a good look at yours before you ditch them. If they aren't chaffed, burned, worn, or damaged at all, and they pass an ohm test, just re-use them. Save yourself a few bucks. I'm all about replacing likely to fail items, but these are just wires. You could easily get a DOA harness or one that fails shortly after installation, too. If you have the original harness, make sure to do the $.50 mod on yours. I found that my passenger side harness had been updated but the driver's side was original so I only needed the mod on the one side.
I have some more research I have decided to go with 160/30% nozzles. Read that 80% really only helps at high rpms and that the 30 has better torque on the dyno. I rarely exceed 2k on the tach.
If it's going to get "DRIVEN" you will definitely be over 2000 RPM. The engine redlines at 3400 RPM so I consider anything over 2000 RPM as "high RPMs". Just my .02

thats true. I didn't think about it like that. . .
So the dealer I'm talking to says he can do 175/80 for $1750 or 160/30 for $1525
