A/C electrical problem
I've got an electrical problem. I have put power to the clutch and that pulls in. The fuse is good, if in fact #24 as I've seen here. With only 4 wires in the system, a panel switch, the clutch solenoid, and the pressure sensor, would seem simple enough. But panel switch is tough to get to. With ignition on and panel switch on, I would think I would get power to either the red w/ white stripe to sensor or white wire going to clutch, but I don't. So I figure the sensor is in line somewhere but seems to be normally closed, so I would think power thru the sensor would go straight to clutch. Where does the red w/ white stripe come from, that goes to sensor? That's got to be the hot because the black at clutch goes to ground.
Obviously no manual here. Just looking what to check next. Thanks
All one has to do is successively half-split the circuit, checking for voltage (key in RUN, mode switch not in OFF, VENT or FLOOR) and see where the voltage is lost. See page 2 of the diagram alloro posted.
