Fuel pump replacement - bus engine
My church has an old bus that I believe has a 1989 7.3 engine in it.
There is a fuel pump on the lower right side of the engine that is spraying fuel out of the weep hole.
Is this pump hard to change? I am very good at working on equipment, but I've never changed one of these pumps before.
Also, is the pump the same on a 7.3 from a Ford Truck as a DT444? I don't think this is the original engine that was put in the bus... fun, right!

Easy to replace. Just have to make sure that the arm ends up underneath the cam lobe. The directions are usually over complicated, if you put it in with the arm angled down it goes in without any problems.
Disconnect the hose/hard line. Pull the two bolts and it comes off. Clean up the area on the block and use a new gasket.
