Lights, lights and lights! (LEDs). Front lights, rear lights, under truck lights (typically used for off roading to see the terrain at night).
Wait it so I can rig it to control my headlights? That would be cool. I'm new to super duty is that a complicated mod? I don't want to get too invasive and mess up my warranty. What does hooking up headlights or bed box lights to a switch entail?
They are talking about aftermarket LEDs for fog, driving, hunting, etc. Probably not a good idea to mess with the factory headlight controls - after all, how hard is it to turn the switch as opposed to flipping one!
*One of mine was going to be used to change one of the power ports in the console to constant power on when the truck is off but it might be handled already with a surprise Job 2 change.
*I will be using another constant power on for front and rear dash cam park mode recording.
*As MagicMtnDan mentioned above, a set of rock lights. While I won't be utilizing them for their intended purpose, I can see them having some good utility at the hunting lease or even simple undercarriage cleaning or inspection/repair.
*Rear mounted "reverse" or work lights.
Installing ANY accessory on the upfitter switches won't screw with warranty, that's their intended use. Ford sells some https://accessories.ford.com/vehicle...ectronics.html and to your question will install any accessory you pay them to install at shop rates
dont mean to but if my SD doesnt have the upfitter switches does it still have the wiring back there? Could I just buy the switches and plug them into the harness or would it require installing the wiring harness?

No, the wiring is not present unless built with upfitter switches from factory.

If you don't have interior sensors in your front facing mesh (or don't want them- move them up inside...), you could go with KustomFX mesh replacement switch panels.
