I just bought a 2019 F250 and mine is doing the same thing. We towed a trailer last week, my son programmed it into the trailer mode. Now after unhooking the trailer, it still defaults to the trailer display mode.
Would think Ford would have fixed this by now..... very annoying.

yeh, pita!... only unhook trailer while truck is running...
Same for me. If trailer is hooked up when I start the truck, it defaults to the trailer screen. If no trailer is hooked up, last screen used comes on.
I've never had to deactivate a trailer. For those that do have to deactivate a trailer, I wonder if they're missing an update somewhere.
i just had a recall done and never had this before. Now everytime i attach a trailer and startup i get this screen. When i disconnect the trailer i have to go unselect the trailer and it will stay on my trip.
I wish i knew how to stop it!
Didn’t read the whole thread but I have this issue if I disconnect the trailer with truck off it always reverts to trailer screen in start up. If I disconnect it with truck on it will say trailer disconnected hit ok, and I can switch to my typical menu screen and it comes back to that screen on start up.
