What's the cheapest way to get a custom tune on my truck? I feel like there has to be a cheaper tuner to load a custom tune with instead of buying a $500 tuner just to load one tune. Am I wrong?
Maybe send your FICM to Ed and have him do an atlas 40/80 tune? Not sure the cost of that though.
You can find a used SCT tuner on eBay or Craigslist rather cheap. I've been running the canned tune on mine without any issues (so far)
We can either load up a tune on your FICM for $150 or can ship you out a tuner on loan for you to try them all out before settling on one for the same next cost. Your choice!

Tune into my truck. I don't see the need for a 400 dollar sct x4 if some old tuner would would let me load the same tune.
The x4 is a handy piece of equipment, it can used to tune the engine, AND it doubles as a monitor to keep track of what the engines doing.also it can read trouble codes.

Yes it is. I love the X4 for my 2004 f250 6.8l. Still messing with it. Still thinking about 5star tunes.
