Transmission Filter Change E40D
My 1997 F350 Automatic E40D transmission Has 78000 miles on it, when should I do a transmission filter change, the fluid still looks good (red)?

You should change the filter when the trans gets rebuilt. It doesn't need to be changed before that.

If they are doing a complete fluid exchange, that's about right. If they are just draining the pan and changing the filter that's REALLY high.
