cell phone mount removal

I have one of those plastic circle suction mount pads I need to remove.
I am looking for ideas, tips and tricks on how to remove it without killing my dash pad.
Thanks

If it's a suction mount, why don't you pull the lever at the base and release it??

you can try a hair blow dryer and do a little heat then use a fishing line and under cut the double sided tape by working it under the tape with your fingers and side to side like a small saw. the use a little silicone spray to clean up residue or mineral spirits.

Ok, i understand now, you could use fingernail polish remover or goo gone, it will soften the adhesive so you can pull it off or as said before, use string or fishing line to slide under it.

Ditto on the hair dryer, don't use nail polish remover it has acetone in it and will eat up some plastics, I melted the dash on my 1970 torino convertible that way, the only one that was still uncracked, major f up. Try rubbing alcohol, it is probably 3m tape.

Yeah, hurting the dash is my biggest concern.
Hair dryer, dental floss all sounds good.
Give it a go today.
