According to John it was pissing gas out of the plug holes and had no compression. He thinks the valves are stuck.

I hope he didn't bend the valves from the pistons hitting them.

I think he's going to have to pull the heads and redo the valves.

Probably should do the whole engine..
Didn't he redo that like 15 years ago and it has been sitting??

It was running 15 years ago when he pulled it out of the donor. Just dried up and stuck everything. He could pull the covers and work oil into the guides.

Being there is no compression tells me that the valves aren't seating because they're either bent or stuck in the guides.

I think the whole front end tilts up as the hood so it should be easy to get to.
