Wow! Thank you very much for the information. Ford is buying back my 2016 and I just ordered my 17 today and they didn't Know if it could be done or not . I don't understand why it does not come already done from the factory . Thank you for the great pictures on the steps that they need to take

Was it the Regeneration Jackhammer Valve Issue?

forgive my ignorance as I am relatively new to the diesel world, but when this gauge reaches near 100% does that indicate the truck will do something to clean this filter or is that a cue for you to replace it yourself? I ask because in the picture above the user has less than 1500 miles and is already 75% full.

The DPF soot at 100% is your indication that it going to go thru a regeneration process to burn off the soot in the DPF.
DPF does not need replacing.
What you will see if you pay attention is a notification that you are now cleaning the DPF.
then you can watch the soot % count down to zero or close to it to know that the cycle was completed.

bottom line here is EGT and fuel dilution.
Knowing you are in regen and that your EGT's will be high can allow you to run the cycle till completed or if you have to stop it then you can idle a few minutes to allow it to cool down (egt's).
Thus allowing you to burn off the fuel as well so you don't let it sit and then get the excess fuel added into your crankcase.

no, I have had extremely sensitive ABS problem they replaced everything from the steering wheel down to the hydraulic module and nothing fixed it . It seems more prevalent in the crew cab long bed 2014-2016 as far as I know . The ABS would activate driving at low speed's or Towing even with the brakes not on . While turning left or right up or down hill on a light bumpy road Or a simple transition from one street to another
