Motorcraft Cam Position Sensor CPS 94-03


is the one I bought last year

 

I just bought a grey one yesterday from my local Ford dealer for $25.00.

This morning I ordered a black one from riffraff.

My old black one failed while in storage this winter.

 

Why are getting a black one? I talked with Clay @ riff raff & he said the best one @ this time was the grey one with a purple o-ring , Ford part # F4thz12k073-c I phoned him less then 2 hours ago. Friskyjake

 

Hey friskyjake,

I just wanted one as a spare and thought I would try a different color just to see if my truck runs different.
No real reason except curiosity because of what I read how different trucks act with the different flavor sensors.

old one was black IIRC


no change in running but for piece of mind and now I have a spare
