I called for one today at INT. the part # they gave me is the same as yours.
1876735C91
Price quote 23.24 in Salt LAke City, UT
Last time it was about 85.00-90.00 in 06/07 Calif.

Since the move I have lost the old receipt and had to crawl under the truck and get the engine serial # 4JU2U 1783683
Took pictures this time and saved it to PC
But I have concerns...My 7 digit serial # would not give them a part directly...said it was not coming up.
So the service parts diesel tech, being the "MAN" in this area, got on the phone and crossed referenced all the 5 lines of sensors they had listed and swears that the 440 series and the 444 are the same since 96 /1/2 with regards to the diameter of the boss.

The improvements over the years internally are said to be there....I forgot to ask what color it is ...will find out when I will call the part.
Last time I did this was some 75,000 mile ago and I did it myself with help from you all at FTE. My truck is just rounding 155k ....2002 F-350...7.3

What I really want to know is...is the information correct and what's been goin on since the last 75k in regards to this CPS/Camp Sensor.
I thought I was done the last time??

Thanks to all the great contributors here ...always come running back home when I have trouble...

We've been using the C91's from Navistar for a while -w/ no issues. Have these is 3 of our 8 trucks. The other 5 still have black ones in them. When they go we'll be putting in the navistar pn.

Thanks for the input ...I have been scouring the old threads for hours refreshing. Seems that part #'s abound.

I have seen lots of info about the deceleration tests and overall feel to the Black(org) / grey(Replacement) / and Blue or dark blue grey.

#'s if still available are 1825 & 1826 899C93
and the one that is mentioned in this thread.

Is there a difference from Nav to INT?
Main goal is to get the thing in again and not have to do it twice due to incorrect part.

Navistar is International's new name - its been a few years since they changed it but most folks still refer to them as international. IIRC the name change came about when the truck biz was separated from the farm equip biz. The tractors are now case-international and the trucks are navistar.

It doesn't matter where you get it. Ford and International are both the same parts. Open a Ford package and it has the International number stamped into it.

$20 is about the going price for them. They came down a bunch when the recall came out.

Yup ford uses the same mfg as navistar - there are a couple of navistar cps pn's that ford doesn't sell but they are not intended for our engines. The only thing I've heard that's different is supposedly the navisatar branded parts go through a few more production tests than the ford pn's do. Heard that from the local navistar dlr - could just be bs. Would seem to maybe have merit as the Navistar trucks have far fewer issues w/ the cps than the ford's do. I don't recall ever needing a CPS for our rescue squad T444E's in the navistar chassis cab ambulances that our county bought back in 00-02. What's funny is its the same engine built in the same factory as the ford 7.3 but they have fewer problems. Think ford "tinkered" a little bit on their engine vs the straight up navistar version. I've found several mechanical and systems differences when servicing the ambulances and brush trucks.

I switched out the light gray ford recall CPS about a year ago with the dark grayish/dark blue CPS from International Part # 1876736C91. Doing good.
