Opened the mailbox and a bright white envelope with the great blue oval was in it. Opened it up and it said to bring me truck down to have me new and improved sensor installed for free!! Me so overjoyed!
I can't believe that Ford is finally bitting the bullet on this part. It's about time.
I personally haven't had to replace mine yet, but I've been waiting for it to happen. How many of you guys/gals have had to replace yours?

 

Got mine last week. Just need to make the appointment when I have time. I am on my third sensor. Even the expensive blue one didn't last as well.

 

I have not received an official invite yet....I did check the Ford website and ran my Vin and know it applies....
Have not had it done yet though..
I suppose they are going by year?? I have a 2003 so maybe I will get my letter towards the last bunch?

got mine after I had already replaced it.

 

Call them anyway, it said that if you replaced it already, then they will still check and/or replace it if needed. If it doesn't need to be replaced again, you can get reimbursed for the one you bought. Provided that you still have the receipt I'm sure...

havent got mine yet. i had mine replaced a few years back under the 5year/100k warranty so i am expecting to get that $100.00 back as well

 

Haven't got anything in the mail yet. I'm the second owner and I did register with ford in case of recalls. I just went down to the dealer, they pulled up my VIN info and put a new one in, no questions asked. 15 minute job.

I've gotten a handful of them over the past few days (own multiple PSD's).

There's still NO WAY I'd take any of them to the dealership. Dealerships are good for two things... buying a new vehicle and warranty, even at that you get a little molested (my '07 is flagged), but the service/parts departments that the carry the asses of these stealerships, well, that's just rape.
