Hey guys, I broke one of the electrical connections off of the HFCM while trying to remove it. Im wondering if any of you have a picture of one? Its the one in the back off the pump, (black cover) I just want to see which wire goes where in the plug in. The wires pulled out and I want to be sure I put these back in the same way. This plug in is to activate the fuel pump if im not mistaken correct?
Which plug are you talking about? I have an '03 so it has the heater. Yours probably does not since it is an '06. My heater plug is toward the filter side (rear of the vehicle) of the housing. For yours there should be two connector plugs. One plug by the fuel drain toward the passenger side that is the water in fuel sensor and one at the end of the pump closer to the frame rail on the driver side that is the pump power.
For the water in fuel, mine has the red toward the driver side frame rail and the gray with red toward the passenger side as it sits plugged in.
For the fuel pump, mine has the pink with black wire toward the passenger side and the black on the driver side of the plug as it sits plugged in.
Hope this helps. Also, just throw your truck's info on the post so people know what you are asking about. Maybe set-up your signature and people won't have to guess since there are so many small differences between the years.
I believe he's asking about the 2 wire plug that plugs into the pump itself, not any of the housing plugs. Unfortunately I won't be around my truck this weekend to snap a pic of the wires. Damn cadillac decided after 200k miles it wanted new control arm bushings so truck is parked at the terminal until car gets finished. Brakes just came in for it too
Have you checked Amazon.ca? I think they ship to Canada.
Or you could set up a postal box and have things shipped there depending where you are in Canada to a US border. This is what I do as I am only one hour away from Port Huron Michigan. The place normally charge $5.00 a package and you need to pay the duties crossing back. It is tough with the exchange rate today though but still worth it sometimes.
