As long as both trucks are diesels it will fit but as important as voltage is to those trucks getting a good new alternator with a minimum of 140 amps of output not one out of another truck from the wrecking yard or whatever in unknow condition and making sure both of your batteries are up to snuff by having them load tested separately out of the truck they should also be replaced in pairs if needed. There is a good thread about alternators in the 6.0 section of the site I would recommend you read through it.

If replacing the stock alternator, there's no way I would stick with the grossly underpowered stock setup. Check out FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts if you want to replace it with a sufficient output alt.

If your engine is (iirc?) the 7.3 hey the 6.0 alt mine is the 140 (or 160, can't remember what's there right now) it will fit with very minor modding to the bracket (self evident) when you offer the alternator to the truck…
