What is this?
Hi all,
Recently purchased a 1997 F350 PSD. Everyone told me the oil leak was the pedestal o-rings. So, I dismantled and rebuilt the turbo, to include a billet wheel from Riff Raff and the EBPV delete. Re-installed, runs great, but the oil leak was still there. I watched the pedestal for evidence of fresh oil and it was dry as a bone. The valley is dry, too. Referencing the photo above, This is the only place I'm finding fresh oil after a hard run. What is it? Is it plausible for it to leak oil? Is it something I can simply tighten?
Thanks for any and all pointers,
Charles
It is the new up graded plug that is longer than the original one and comes with one single gasket. Insulation was easy just don't forget to buy the locktite for the proper installment of the plug.
