Subscribed. I have similar issues although my batteries are good. Only one time have I had the battery light flash. But similar charging issues after gp's turn off.

Time to add more to the saga. Went to go inspect my driver's side glow plug harness and kinda killed it. The good news is that the #4 glow plug was indeed corroded and slightly bent (which I account to the thinness being created by corrosion and lack of material) so the scan gauge did a great job detecting it. I may be able to rebuild the harness as all the wires are still intact. Just to be on the safe side, where has everyone gotten their harnesses from when they've had to do this job before? And of course Motorcraft only...
