It also hits the transmission mounting tab on the back but that is an easy fix to just cut that tab off the trans. I will mess with it more tonight
No, I have no problem. I'm not sure what that piece is that is bolted onto the boss on the left rear of your case. I don't use that for anything.

Here is mine after I made a few adjustments once I got the cab mounted on the frame.

I think that you may need to rotate the trans arm on selector shaft. Additionally I mounted the lower heim joint in the slot not in the hole at the end of the trans arm. This lets your make adjustments to the linkage in order to fit. I also cut the threaded rod too short but Home Depot carries that size threaded rod.

PM me with your phone if you want to talk.

thanks for the update. I have a small hose clamp bolted to that boss for my vacuum hose but I will cut that off. I can try to rotate the arm but it looks like it doesn't stick out far enough to the side to miss the mounting bracket like yours does.

You know that you have to bend the threaded rod? It ends up looking like a shallow Z.

I am still installing mine. I have an AOD. I have the 16" double bend. I only have about eleven inches between my dash and my bench seat. The throw of the shifter is probably ten. I am mounted almost all the way to the front. Had to rotate the bannana bracket all the way forward to get clearance from the dash....I know that sounds wrong but it's not. then the problem is that in the park the "QUAD LEVER" is above the floor. I need the Bell Crank hardware..$42. Hope that will work. I have called LOKAR before and after I bought this. Never waited more than 3minutes to talk to a tech person.

By moving the heim stud up the slot toward the shaft you shorten the throw. I have a 23" straight shifter and it hit the seat and would not shift into 1-1. But by shortening the throw it now works fine.

good idea, is it noticeably harder to shift with less leverage?

Just to update. I installed the bell crank hardware. The instructions and photos were very good. The hardware has solved my problem.

I tried to take a pic. Didn't turn out. The part number for the bell crank is S-68159. In Summit it is LOK-S-68159. I downloaded the instructions from one of those sites. The photos and instructions are very clear.
