What Floor Shifter With Bench Seat?
Guys I have a 1967 F100 With bucket seats. I am wanting to put in a bench seat but I am confused on how to make this work with this type floor shifter? It is the B&M style shifter with the cable and it is to far back for the bench seat to clear. What can I do to make this work? Also I am not wanting to change my steering column for this because I have the IDIDIT style column in now. Any suggestions?

I used a B&M Megashifter with my bench seat. I adjusted the seat to my liking (nobody else drives my truck) and plopped the shifter on the floor. I marked the holes, drilled and cut, then ran the cable through the floor to the linkage on the side of the trans.
It's tough to describe but my cable makes a big loop under the truck. It comes out from the floor, makes the big loop over the trans and then goes down to the linkage on the trans.
I think if you check my gallery, you can see it.

I say just move it forward and make some new holes in the floor.
