I am positive it was engine block heater cord short... as I had been shocked a couple of times by the cord...


it would have taken the whole garage if it wasn't for a neighbor

I'm surprised it had a block heater. Was it a 4.0 or 5.0?

4.0 bought used from a dealer that imported from Canada back when I lived in massachusetts

I don't know for sure, but I'm sure the original list price of that truck wasn't a whole lot higher than 20k. You can do what you want, and the value will depend on the market you are in, but I would maybe pay half that. That is just me though. I would prefer to find one that was in good enough condition for me, and then put the money I want into it and make it how I want.

I would also like to add that whatever that dealer is smoking, find out.
