Thanks to all. I though it was quite high myself. I am located in southwestern Colorado, looking for a truck that has spent most of its life out in the west. Looks like I have another truck on the hook. 1995, extended cab, 145K miles, super clean truck inside and out. Want $12K
I had the T4 turbo setup with the s366 and the oil pressure line looped around the back of the turbo. It rubbed on the firewall, burst a hole in the line, hot oil dumped on the hot turbo, caught fire, the fire burned up the wiper motor. The wiper motor has juice to it all the time and when it shorted out it took the whole engine wiring harness. I made several attempts to put out the fire and finally the fire department got it out.

For $1500 less you fly out to OR and drive my brother-in-law's '96 back to CO.
pacific north west demands higher prices as they do not use salt on the roads... so vehicles last significantly longer...
Yes, prices are higher here, but $10-15K is typically the average for a clean, strong running 7.3L truck. Although that doesn't stop some people from asking $20K+. Such as... http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/6005682612.html

Ten-five is a shade high for any F250, but with the new injectors, and the fact that it's a rare-ish SCSB, at least it's in the ball park.
But you let your BIL call it an "extra cab", like it's some.... import?
My guess is that it's his wife that posted it, so I have no problem letting that slide. And I wouldn't say that ten-five is high for 'any' 250 (i.e. a CCSB). I sure wouldn't let mine go for anywhere close to that; of course, mine's not really a 250 anymore.
Feeling pretty good Phil, thanks for asking! See below, lol.
You got it Lee, are you a psychiatrist? lol I'm not aware of your loss but maybe you don't want to talk about it
