rear window swap

hi folks, i don't like the fixed rear window on my XL trim truck so i want to know about swapping in one with a sliding panel. i think i know where to look for one in the junkyard. for this job, are there any complications to point out other than buying a new gasket? are the 80-86 rear windows sufficiently the same shape to fit too? were there just the two types, fixed and sliding?

Be sure to get the gasket with that window.
Factory sliders have a wider channel than single glass.

Aftermarket sliders have a flange to fit a single lite gasket.

1973/96 F100/350 & 1997 F250 Heavy Duty & F350.

1997 F150 & F250 L/D (Light Duty-same cab as F150) has a different back window.

I am pretty sure that is PLAINLY obvious, especially since the 97+ F150 windows bolt in and doesnt go in with a gasket like the 73-97 do
