Height difference in Hitch
I'm guessing it's been covered but can someone tell me the difference in the height of the hitch receiver, 2011 to the 2017?
I'm picking up a truck today and I have to tow a trailer on Saturday. Want to be sure I'm ready to do that.

Measure from the ground to top of ball on level surface the measurements should be for standard trailers. On a 2 inch ball it should be 18 inches from ground. On a 2-5/16 inch ball from ground should be 20-21 inches from ground. These measurements should put the trailer level. The top of my hitch was at 24 inches and if you put a drop you need to take in the different heights that a ball comes in. I would just wait until you get the truck and measure to get it correct.

The hitch is exactly 2 inches higher with the 2017 vs. the 2011. Add 2 inches to all your previous drop measurements and you'll be good.
