motor Idenification

The motor what is it ?,Looks like a 330 ,2bbl !,the water pump has regular inlets, its not the hd !,block reads 352 58 left front of block, near the oil filter{ 42 dif } lower is k-12 ,intake reads C7TE (9425-k) 9k10 ,Vin F61CCH0221 on door !.,the valve cover has 5 bolts !,oil pan straight on the bottom. Without knowing the internals, casting on the crank/dowel check,What about cast numbers on the heads?. any Thought on this Idenification of this motor !!,Thanks for your Forums !! Harley 589 !!

Harley, what did this engine come from ? Is it still in its original truck ? Does the engine mount with one big mount under the front or are there two mounts, one on each side of the block ? DF

harley, I think the engine in your F-600 is an FT because according to ford engine parts interchange book 4 holes on each side indicate a FT "ford truck engine" like a "FE' but heavy duty.
Displacements were 330,359,361,389,391. 330, 359 had 4.00in bores. 361,391 4.05in bores. Don't know what one it would be,but considering it is post 60's I would assume 361 or391.352 casting in your block began with 352 eng in1958 and remained with FE throughout its service life. Hope this helps Jakes69.

The "C" in the VIN says it's a 330 2V Medium Duty used in the F and B 500-600. A "D" would have been the Heavy Duty 330.
