Help Stuck in CA. rear axle help

The Curse is still here. My rear axle was leaking fluid I guess and let the hub bearings with little oil. one blue up and the other about to blow up.. I have all the parts coming in this morning but I cant get the inner bearing race to come off. in on the axle (rear). I have tried to pry it off by wedging a screwdriver behind it but nothing. The axle steel is softer so it gives and I don't want to mess it up where the seal will not work. How do I get it off? I don't see how a puller would grab it as there is not a lip to grab on to..

I've not had one of these axles apart but on the last gm 8.5 axle I did I used a long piece of 1 1/4"iron pipe from lowes and went through the opposite side axle tube and drove it out that way. I had the carrier out to do it. Not sure if you could do something like that. I couldn't get mine out with a slide hammer and spreading jaw puller

I'm not sure I understand what part you're saying is stuck. Is the whole hub still stuck on the spindle or is the axle shaft stuck in the tube?

The inner seal can get seated pretty solid and make it hard to get the hub off of the spindle.

there isn't a lip to grab onto. I have thought about welding a lip on but I would need to go buy a welder . I have 2 already.

You sure it's the race and not the actual bearing stuck?

It was the base of the inner bearing like a race. I had to cut it off. What a PITA. I'm really getting tired of this truck......... Was my fault for not checking fluids I guess.
