I have an 89 f250 4x4 5.8L with full floating axles and I'm trying to change the rear axle seals and would like info or directions on how to do it myself.

If it's a Sterling 10.25, it's fairly easy, I watched the mechanic do it on my truck in about 5 minutes. Basically, pull the wheels (you might not even have to do that) or just the hub covers, undo the bolts on the axle hub things that stick out of the wheels, you'll need a special socket and probably air tools to remove the axle nut (I'm pretty sure that's what it was), then pull the wheel bearing and the axle seal, knock it in, put lube on the bearing and throw it back in, then reassemble.
That's how he did it, and I'm pretty sure I remembered all the steps, someone else will hopefully correct me if I'm wrong!
Pull the rims off, then the brake drum. Unbolt the axle shaft and pull it out. Loosen the spindle nut holding the hub on. (You will need a special socket if you wanna do it right). Pull the hub off the spindle. Then i used a punch and careful punched the seal off from the front side of the hub
