So I recently checked fuel.pressure and found it to be running at 50 at idle and 40 at WOT throttle. I then replaced the spring and the numbers have not changed. What should I do next?
Well those numbers are technically acceptable. Lot's of stock pressures fall in that range.
However, if you do want to increase it, researching the BB mod should do the trick. Basically you take a normal BB and shove it behind the spring in the regulator which increases the set pressure from the regulator.
It takes like 5 minutes to do it as long as you don't drop the pieces down in the valley like I did.
Does the bb go in 1st & then the spring & then the cap? I just received my new spring { the spring that Knotyrope suggested} have not installed it yet. Maybe I don,t need the bb? Curious. The new spring is a little shorter also. Friskyjake

spring is a small amount shorter than the stock spring but with more strength/pressure
Ok.so I cleaned my FOR screen and wow was if covered with crud I couldn't see how any fuel passed through it. When doing so I did the bb mod and all is well my fuel pressure at idle is 68 & @ WOT in 3rd it's 58 at absolute lowest my concern.is that when I let off the pedal it spikes to 84 then comes back down to normal is that ok?
It will spike some when you let off from wot. Sounds a touch high but should be ok. I have mine adjusted to 60 at idle. Honestly, 50 at idle and 40 and wot isn't bad. A little more wouldn't hurt but you aren't in dire need of more pressure
