I'm pretty sure that most guys here will agree with me. These trucks aren't meant for speed, plain and simple. I appreciate your level of maturity about someone with a differing opinion other than your own. Very classy. Enjoy your truck! I'll enjoy mine from the kids table.
I made an account strictly to tell you: Pretty sure you're wrong. I will not be governed by an inanimate object. I tell it what to do, it does not tell me what to do.
I was in the back roads, and there was a very slow truck and only import cars behind it. I decided to pass and floored the truck. As is usual, someone was turning onto the highway without seeing if someone was passing, so I had to go faster, but at 95 my truck started cutting out. I just barely got in front of the other car without hitting them head on. I need to turn that feature off. There are times when you need to go very fast, and I don't need my truck cutting out so I am involved in a head on crash.

Everyone had pulled up on each others bumpers so I had no slot to get back in line. Good thing I made it, otherwise I would have pushed one off the road. Better that than a head on crash.
I wonder if all these folks who are chastising you for excess speed or lack of patience, or whatever, have ever done anything wrong? It seems to me the folks who are the most critical are the same ones who do exactly what they are being critical of.
It's a sad state. It used to be on forums you could have productive discussions at a technical level, with those who were interested in the topic. Those that weren't interested in that topic, just scrolled on down the page. Now days it seems when you hit on a topic that doesn't align with the "herd narative", like LED bulbs, speed limiter, firearms, etc, the sheet-posters and thread-sliders decend on the conversation like a pack of vultures to accuse everyone of "wrong think" and derail the whole thing. They do it intentional, and I see it on every forum I am a member of. I honestly wonder how many of them are bot / AI accounts designed to do just that.
The best thing I've found is don't reply or engage with them at all, just ignore them.
Good point. Some people just want everyone to be miserable. You can take anything and make it a bad thing if you want. I prefer to stay positive and believe that all people mean well. But, I am not push over and will stand my ground. I am also not stupid. I know when I am getting my leg pulled.
