I'm pretty sure that most guys here will agree with me. These trucks aren't meant for speed, plain and simple. I appreciate your level of maturity about someone with a differing opinion other than your own. Very classy. Enjoy your truck! I'll enjoy mine from the kids table.
I don't like to be governed - by anyone or anything.
I believe the whole restriction thing just goes agains the American ethos. I will remove the restictor on my 17 just as I did with my 12. Why? Just cause.

So How did you do it please? FYI Jut had a Dodge 2500 rental while doing the $13000 CP4 repair and it did not have limiter.
Does anybody know how to remove the speed limiter? Can the Forscan tool do that or do I need an EZLynk or something along those lines? Thanks
So to answer your question, I used my HP Tuner and did it myself. Check w/ Five star tuning, they'll custom tune anything you want, including speed limiter. https://5startuning.com/

no they won't.
Taking the limiter off doesn't mean he thinks the truck is designed for speed or that he's going to run it at the indy 500.

Did you ever come up with any way to turn off speed limiter?
There is a scan tool the Diablo 3 that will do it my truck cut off at 95 too kind of pissed me off and hatted it hell my Santa Fe did 118 before it cut out I will be removing mine I have been studying this part for à minute but that scan tool will do it and I will be doing mine the Same way you have to adjust other things things like idle and so on but it is all good look it up on utube it is there
I genuinely can't imagine a scenario where 8,000 lbs of truck needs to go over 95 miles per hour.
When Mt St Helens blew up there was a guy going 105 in a station wagon trying to outrun it. He passed another guy doing 95. The wagon lived, the other guy, no.
Being unlimited doesn't mean you ever have to use it. But if you really need it, it's not the time to be getting out your laptop and Forescan.
