When i installed mine last week the paper work says that it removes the factory speed limiter. All I know is, I can now blow past what my top end speed used to be like it was standing still. I havent maxed out yet, start puckering when a truck this big gets to moving that fast.

I was wondering if you could go past 95 or so in stock? Your other post said it would stop there in stock I didn't know if that was stock setting with the chip or stock before the chip.
I have the "modified" stock setting for my single shot injectors. It still limited my top speed to the factory setting of ~ 95 mph. I had Jody remove the limit when we lived tuned this summer. It is now the same as all the rest.
Ditto on what the others said. Stock without the chip....Mine would stop at about 95. With it, the first time I drove it after installing the chip....I backed out of the throttle around 105... (Just had to check it out. Jumped on a toll road and nailed it.) Couldn't believe it was still accelerating. But as Damon said, (KJNDIVER), pucker factor kicks in with a vehicle that size moving that fast.
That was bone stock before the chip. I havent tried in stock setting with the chip. Who wants to go back to stock when i got 80e or 120r? hehehe Ill give it a try sometime and see.
I dont know about rest of ya, but definite pucker factor for me goin that fast in this truck. Ive gone 120 in a honda accord on way up to dallas before and it felt like 80. Didnt realize we were going that fast and slowed down. Only other time ive gotten the same pucker factor was in a camaro ss doing about 145. FYI, with t-tops off and doing 145 in a camaro, the floor mats in the back seat come up and hit you in back of head. Reached over to my bud driving, slapped the #$%& out of him and told him to slow this sum b$%#* down. I get same feeling when this truck gets into triple digits and dont wanna slow down. Sorry for getting sidetracked.
I can't recall that 95 mph speed in stock but now I just gotta try it and see. I know in my 60-80-120-140 I have no problem getting above a hundred, verry rare I do but this past week in 80E I was late for work and on this 4 mile streatch of road I got to about 100mph before the puckering factor moved in and backed it down.
