1965 light bulbs

My 1965 F-100 cc Short Bed Dash lights ??? Had 1895 bulbs in dash installed t293 bulbs . I would like brighter lights in my dash . Any help is needed !!! Also I don't mind changing out for diff. sockets, also Brighter tail light bulbs 1157 in there now !!!

Not too sure about the dash bulbs, but I believe 2157's are brighter for the tail lights. There are also LED replacement bulbs available for the rears, too.

Hi Don, Try putting in new bulbs in the dash. The old bulbs get dim over the years. Make sure your grounds are good to make the tail lights brighter.

Checked , Ground's & replaced bulb's already . I found socketsfor 194 bulb's any brighter bulb's for it ??? I will check on 2157 bulb's today

Dim lights means high resistance somewhere, make sure all those pin connectors are clean and bright, there's a dozen or so all over the truck, plus ground connections. WD40 or contact cleaner and bristle brushes will perk things up. If you can see corrosion (green powder) than they will soon fail.
