Looking for a picture.

1979 F150 Am looking for a picture of the backside of the headlight switch and wiper switch area. Mine is missing the bulb/socket assembly from the bezel that would light up the words Lights and Wipers. Would like to see a picture of what it looked like originally so I can get an idea on how to make something that would work. Thanks.

So you need to see the place on the back side of the dash/instrument bezel to see how the small silver clip that holds the legend light in place right?

BAM here you go. Do you have the small silver tube clip? And the plastic tab is broke off the back side of the bezel?

Just reread your post, so you are missing the "bulb/socket assembly". I have a fix for that, PM sent.

Are you sure it's missing? It's got a fairly long lead and can end up a ways away from where you think it should be.

46Whizzer I have searched high and low in the dash in the 4 times that I have had the dash apart repairing other things. This is the last piece of the puzzle I believe. At least I hope so!
