What is this blue light?
I understand that there is always one in the crowd and today that is me. I have a 77 250 4x4 and there is a small blue capped light with an aluminum shroud that looks like it slides into something but I dont know what. It is located in the dash area hanging about where the parking brake release handle is.Does anyone know what this light is for and where it goes. I know it is NOT the high beam indicator. That last comment is correct. That bulb is used to light up the wiper switch label and the headlight switch label. There is a steel sleeve on the back of the dash panel right between the 2 switches. The bulb should be slid into that sleeve.
