puking degas, super sluggish cold driving, oil temp rises very quickly
I'm a bit worried at the point but it is what it is. Truck has 170k miles, ARP studs, supposedly has egr delete (not sure if that is just turner delete or egr blocked on both ends or both). Suppose to have a new oil cooler. Does have K&N cold air intake, 5" exhaust.
At this point I'm ready to replace head gaskets, oil cooler, injectors, and I'd like to have the billet water pump while I'm at it. From the research I've done, blown gasket, bad oil cooler, and bad injectors is what I've have on my hands.
On a 20 degree outside temp start up, take off and the truck is just super sluggish. The oil temp is rising really quick with in a mile. The coolant isn't even close to running temp. 30 minute drive coolant levels up to the oil temp. Not near over heating. To be continued...........

I'll may go ahead and try that first, copper.farm. Thanks man. Hopefully this weekend we can run some test at the shop.
The truck was tuned with a SCT tuner. Not sure what tune is being used and honestly I don't know a lot about the tuner. Can't I download programs from the net that people have created? If so, does any one know of some reliable programs I can purchase? I don't want to roast the tires or anything like that. I would like a program that will assist the ol' 250 when hauling a 26' camper when I need it and something that is alright for daily driving.

Hey Ford.Dude. I like your truck. Reminds me of my '05 when I had it. Was a peppy, torquey truck once I had all the issues worked out. Not sure what you got goin on there with yours yet. Your oil and coolant temp spread is not too bad. You say you have ARP studs, so you've obviously had head work done. I had to have my heads done twice! to get it right, so that's always an unfortunate outcome. You should do a proper diagnostics. Don't assume whats been done to your truck and check out the 6.0l forum as Kdr358 suggested. I'm sure their all over that stuff! Good luck.

Thanks jimmystoys. Yeah the dummy gauges are way off according to the tuner. Those gauges had me worried but all seems good. PM'd a mod asking to move the thread.
I love the ol' Ford you have in your avatar. My father and I are going to looked at a 94 f150 V6 5 speed all original besides the 4" lift. GREAT condition and ford blue even. It's for my nephew. Should be a great starter ride for him just wish it was 4 wd.

I don't want to sound like a negative nelly, but that's a hell of a diagnosis based on the data provided.
A new thermostat is in order. I've never seen EOT lead ECT during warmup after I got my new stat. Usually will lead by 10 degrees.
Puking degas needs to be investigated with a pressure test rig or the cap removal process once at temp.
Download ForScan for the phone or laptop and check for codes. If you have injector issues, you may have codes to help verify. I've also read that a FICM on its way out can make more than one injector squirrelly.
Data, data, data, unless you've got money to burn!
P.S. Dummy gauges are just that.
