2013 with base 3.7 engine.

How is this base non eco boost 3.7L engine. Looking at a 2013 with low miles. Are they very reliable?

I cant speak for reliability, but I got a '12 STX, reg cab, 3.7 in December with 61k miles. This past week end made a 1100+ mile round trip from north of Dallas to New Orleans (first hiway trip). 2 riders, 300-400 lbs of cargo. Never felt underpowered.

Got just under 23mpg with cruise set at 70-75mph most of the way. pleased so far.

You don't really hear of any issues with the 3.7L engine. We have that engine in our Transit van, and it does a great job moving 8,000 lbs of van, cargo, and people.

You shouldn't have any problems at all. I have a 2012 XL 4x4 that I purchased last April. It's been very good so far with no reliability issues whatsoever. I bought the truck with 28k on the clock, now getting ready to turn 36k. It has plenty of power, starts on a dime, runs like a clock, does everything I ask it to do without complaint. What more can you ask of a truck?

I have about 20,000 on my 2014 with no problems. I am very happy with the performance around town and on the highway. I've done a little towing and had no issues.
