2016 Seats

I test drove a new 2016 F150 FX4 Platinum last night. Are the seat bottoms smaller/shorter than the 2012 F150 Platinums? They sure felt short in the thigh by about an inch or two. I didn't have a tape measure to measure my 2012 to the 2016 but being 6'4" they just seam shorter. Maybe my 2012 have flatten out over the years.
Don't really need to upgrade but I like on the new technology the 16 has to offer. I would have made a deal last night but the salesperson was just an idiot and would not listen. Felt like I was at a buy here pay here lot. I just walked out.

I feel like you may be right on that one. I recently went from an 11' to a 16' and noticed a slight difference in the seats. I do feel like they are more comfortable though...might just be the newness of it.

I agree,
The seats that were in the 2006 were much better than the ones in the 2015

I felt like the seats were slightly smaller in the 2016 as well. I did spend a lot more time driver the Super Duty than the 2012 before getting the new truck so I thought it was me.

To me the bottom cushion seems a little shorter as far as thigh support, but it does break in nicely. The back has a better angle for me and I really appreciate the smaller headrests. My favorite seat was in my '08 Super Duty. This one is just a good once broken in.

I think because of the aluminum body needing more creases for strength the interior is smaller.

Well I measured a 2015 seat and they measured the same as my 2012. So, I bought a new 2017 Platinum crew on Friday. Loving it so far.

I'm 6'4" and coming from a 2003 Expedition. That SUV had the most comfortable seats I've ever had in a vehicle, but those on my '16 F150 are not bad at all. I've got the heated cloth on the XLT...
