Anyone have a resource for a list of compatible seats for a 2006 XLT SuperCrew? The stock 40/60 (or whatever it is) is a torture device and I was looking at putting something Leather in it. I told my wife any F150 seats would fit, but I was just guessing based on the assumption that Ford wasn't going to create separate bodies, rails, and electronics for every line/model/year.
I'd like to sit on King Ranch leather, but maybe that's just a pipe dream. Thanks for any input.
I don't know what will fit for sure. I just got a 2007 crew with buckets and like the 2003 I had the seats sucked for XLT they are hard and have nothing to hold you in place like. I'm looking into a set out of the 04 super duty we got a SD at work with buckets and they are comfy . Almost like the old 97 down seats . I know I'll have to fab them in but I'll be watching this post . GOOD luck
Mechanically, I bet you could mount about any 04-07 F150 seats like you're thinking. Electrically, you may have to run some wires for power seats if that's what you end up with. Ford deletes certain wires/modules in models that don't need the particular wires, so you'll have to check out what exactly is under your seats to know for sure.

Thanks, it appears to me that the bolt patterns match and I'm operating under the assumption that the truck doesn't provide anything other than power via the wiring harness. From the underside, it looks like heaters, memory moduels, etc. are self-contained in the upgraded seats (e.g. those with memory positions and/or heating elements). If anyone knows differently, I'd appreciate the info.
I had kicked around the idea of just replacing the fabric with leather, but then I'll have uncomfortable LEATHER seats instead. Not much improvement. BTW, I was unable to edit the original message, but I do have a power driver seat (couldn't care less about the passenger's side).
