replacement seats for ext. cab?
I've got an XL with bench seats that have seen better days. They need replacing as soon as cash permits but which would you do; replace with higher end (xlt, Lariat, HD, King Ranch) Ford seats, or aftermarket stuff? What is the most comfortable seat ste up that Ford makes and where could I find some? Thanks.

The seats will fit fine. Which is the most comfortable is a personal preference type of thing. Try to ifnd some other trucks with the different seats and see which are more comfortable to you. Any seats from 99-07 will fit, but you probably want to stay away from the super cab seats from 02 up I think as they have the seatbelt built into the seatch itself.

You'll find a wide assortment of stock Super Duty seats on ebay. I see benches, split benches and bucket seats on there often (including KR buckets).
Depends on your tastes and needs, I think the Lariat and XLT SPort buckets (Captains Chairs) are very comfortable, but the 60/40 split bench is probably the most versatile.

I think if I go with a Lariat seat I'll have to get the buckets or captains chairs, my dad has the leather split bench in his dually and I don't care too much for it. It is better than what I've got right now though. I did sit in a Harley edition once though that was unbelieveably nice.
