Gooseneck ball extender

Sometimes with a short bed, the trailer can hit the cab while turning. the extender attaches to the stock ball mount and moves a new ball about 4" to the rear. B&W makes one for theirs but its a square shank. DrawTite makes a round shank but I don't believe it fits the Reese Elite. Thanks for any help.

I now understand what you are after and have seen the b&w version. I'm not familiar with the draw tite but assume that they must use a pin similar to b&w to keep the round shank from turning. The Reese Elite has nothing to prevent rotation, which is stupid in my opinion, as even with 2300+ on the pin the ball rotates in the shank.
Given that issue I have never seen anything that will move the ball back in the hitch, as there is no way to prevent rotation. The only option I see to offset the trailer back wold be to do something with the trailer coupler. The shocker air hitch offsets the ball socket forward a few inches. That or something similar is probably your only option. Don, 99150 on here has something similar on his trailer. May not hurt to pm him for an opinion.
