Dumb question

Well i have a 2" ball on my hitch and the trailer I'm looking to buy has a 1 7/8" hitch. Will I be able to tow this?

Nope...buy a 1 7/8 ball. As 1 7/8 is SMALLER than 2 ", it won't fit on the ball.....

You have two options. Get a 1 7/8" ball, or put a 2" hitch on the trailer. If you choose to get the 1 7/8" ball, I would recommend you get one on a stinger, so all you have to do is slide it in and pin it, not change ***** everytime you need to.

I chose to put the 2" hitch on the trailer. It was not difficult to do and then I had a standard amongst all my trailers.
