I am looking at getting one of these systems since I use trailers that take a 2" ball and 2 5/16ths.
Does anyone use these systems? Any better than the others (they all seem similar but a bit different.)
They all say, "changes in seconds". Right, how about when you are changing greasy ball in the rain and you drop the slippery thing into a 4 inch puddle? Even worse what if you are on a hill and the thing rolls into the next town?

Yeah, I've looked at them a few times. Didn't really appeal to me. Mostly because the chances of one trailer with a 2" ball, and another trailer with a 2-5/16" ball, both using the same height draw bar seems unlikely. I like my trailers to tow level and that usually means a different draw bar dedicated to a trailer.
If I really did have two trailers that I towed regularly, and that were about the same height, I would probably just change the coupler on the one with a 2" ball and upgrade to a 2-5/16" coupler. No more ball swapping.
I use one all the time. spend the extra money on stainless!!!!!! you can push the pins out of then with an ink pen. If you get the plain chrome ones then you have to tap them out with a punch. It it way easier to store a few extra ***** than it is to have multiple drawbars. In my opinion. I have been using my same one for the last 2 trucks. Get a locking pin to secure drawbar, had my last one stolen.
We also have the stainless got them at NAPA, it was just under $40 for the pin and 2 *****. It is a lot easier than swapping the whole receiver hitch every time I need to change *****. I was a little worried about the pins in the ball getting loose but so far they are holding up and it looks like a new O ring is all it would take if they do get to loose.
Well, I always need a drop on my vehicles and I found it much easier and quicker just to have ball mounts with each size needed and just swap them out and put the greasy one into a plastic bag ready for next time. I have had people steal even my backup alarm off my van so I tack weld the threads on the ball. If you live in a nice enough area someone sooner or later will steal the ball on a swappable one.
